No one can be strong and steadfast without the word of God

• World evangelism
  • Don't seek to satisfy the flesh - you cannot feel the gospel
  • Gospel will be preached to the ends of the world, and the end will come
  • Don't feel the love of God, know Him
• Know the full gospel
  • Don't feel the gospel, your own sense --> not giving birth to a pure and devoted heart to god
  • Don't interpret by your own sense
  • Problem doesn't go because you don't understand the full gospel.   
  • Worship Jesus in church but go round nd round in their own problem
• Experience the HS
  • Gospel gives you the right heart nd that is HS
  • He is a person - person of Christ, know his guidance, his strength 
  • You will receive the right passion, right courage 

No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Joshua 1:5 NIV)

This is how God starts -- give you the promise first

When you meditate on the word, only then it influences your heart 

Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:6-9 NIV)

1. What does the new gen needs to know to fulfill WE..?
   • Knowing is the start of your faith, the basis of your faith 
1. God always raise up people for his work through giving the full gospel - these people re the main character and he will give you the mind of main character because they respond to it
   1. Are you the main character? If you have chance to hear the gospel, you could be the person God is calling you
2. Covenant 
1. We always ask god how? but god says - NOW!
2. Don't ask how - you lose strength 
3. Read the bible starting from knowing covenant first - let it influence your heart that makes you strong 
3. Book of the law

2. Help and presence of god is always with Israel through the bible
3. Meditate on it day and night, be careful to obey what I have instructed you
1. Think through the bible and confirm it is true 
4. Strong and courageous spirit 
1. Confidence comes from not having any reproach in your heart
2. You know the covenant and do the will of father 

1. Inertia stronghold - stagnant faith and tendency to stay still. What is ur inertia? Strongholds. Yu need to cross the jordannriver conquer Jericho wall in order to reach the land of cannaan if not they will die in wilderness.
2. Seduction (women, idols) - women = beauty; idols = power --> loss of devotion/ focus --> lukewarm ness 
3. Constant battles --> lack of stamina, discouragement 

Power of the HS (acts 1:8)

• Misunderstanding of HS
• Not by good works but by Jesus coming to earth who giv you a new life
• He won't leave when you sin - convict you of your sins nd weakness (not condemnation of your sins and makes your turn away from God and you want to hide yourself --> by satan --> it brings contriteness, godly sorrows then make you turn to Him and it sets you free 
• Power of HS only come to you when you bring this gospel to the ends of the world - then the power of HS will uplift you again and again

1. Covenant - I am with you and I will not leave you. Remind, influence your heart with the covenant 
2. The setting apart of our lives eph 5:10,17
   1. Test his will and know what pleases The Lord 
3. New grace through challenges - propels you into seeking The Lord deeply
