The ultimate measure of love goes beyond the tangible things

• Your life direction is aligned with God's way (how are you living your life)

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. (Romans 13:8-10 NIV)

• Not merely loving the current life but his soul (eternal love)
• How can you love someone when you don't even share the good news with him?
• If you truly believe this is the truth, it is an important and eternal matter, if you have tasted the true love, HS inside us will propel us to break through our timidity 

And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ (entire focus of his life time is to follow father, reconcile people to God), and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. (Romans 13:11-14 NIV)

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless,(before you see them this way, harassed and helpless, you will not move toward evangelism; you need to see into the inner soul, no matter how glamorous on the outside, you will move on to share the good news, you will then feel the compassion for them) like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Matthew 9:35-38 NIV)

For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! If I preach voluntarily, I have a reward; if not voluntarily, I am simply discharging the trust committed to me. What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not make full use of my rights as a preacher of the gospel. (1 Corinthians 9:16-18 NIV)

1. Gospel itself is the power of God --> so mighty that it will restore the authority to the evangelist 
   • X that evangelist has the authority first, but the one who confirmed that he has been called, he already has the authority 
     • Not one disciple in the bible actually has the super good standard or conditions (great faith, gift of gab) before he goes evangelism. But Jesus said - go and proclaim the good news
     • When weak people follow God, no matter how weak we are, if we are willing to trust God, God himself will do the good He called 
     • Authority comes when you truly believes in the gospel, and you believe that God has called you to be His witness (for you have tasted the sweetness)
     • True authority comes from holding onto the truth (the firm and unchanging truth)
     • The greatest work of HS come when a person wants to exalt Christ 
     • Believe that only God himself can touch a person, move a person - we just said and discharge the trust given to you 
   • X more evangelism, more power/ evidences -> believe goodness of gospel --> powerful
     • What is defined as good is the promise of God (never mind you are in wildness, but god is with you. he answers all prayers ) not the tangible seen successes 
     • Assured power no matter what you face, God will allow you to stand the test
     • We need to have power based on solid foundation not on changing things eg wealth, r/s 
   • Restore the perspective: gospel is power (then you will not be shaken when things change, you will not be turned away from evangelism)
   • The weakest witness of Christ is one who can only testify when good things come, or when they receive certain things..
   • Evangelise in season and out of season -- angels will work 
     • Is evangelism confirmed on certain occasion, and certain situation? 
     • God wants us to have whole person evangelism 
     • People understand about your god through talking to you about your values, the way you very yourself
     • It has to be part of your life 
   • Full gospel (God-driven, Christ centred gospel) --> angels work 
     1. God has never left you, he is present even in your current situation. He is always there with you
     2. Mans only problem is we cannot see this God. We are obsessed with many more things, Existence of evil who is blinding our eyes and minds so that we will miss the presence of God. Sin has separated us from god 
     3. God knows it is impossible for man to find god, so he send Jesus Christ to save us, die and resurrect, and become the king over satan and world. Nothing that he cannot solve. 
     4. Though you are unbeliever, the fact that you are in contact with the gospel, shows that god is reaching out to you and love you. If you can believe, your are COG
     5. There is great blessing in your current situation. No matter how bleak it is because God has come to find you.
2. Evangelism
   1. Not about sacrificing for God, needing courage to do great things -->compelled by God's love to evangelise 
   2. Not about Give up everything to follow God - in everything we do, change the motive to evangelism (does doing this will make people understand my God better? I sleep to evangelise..)
   3. Not about exchanging it for resolution of problem--> enters into God's timetable
      • Not grieving, but see the conditions you are in as god-given conditions. Evangelise in your current process 
      • Pray: enter into God timetable (evangelism), god will surely show grace now! You don't have to wait, grace and evidences will surely follow you 
3. Evangelists - doors of evangelism surrounding you
   1. Pray to receive burden that belong to yourself --> god impressed upon us different burdens eg children, patients, youth -- if you receive it from God, no matter how hard it is, you won't give up (hear it from The Lord)
   2. Intentionally find people to reach out to - moving out of comfort zone 
      • Battle with your nature, your self inclination 
      • Observe how people are helpless and harassed / loved, only then you will find yourself wanting to break through your comfort zone 
      • Know people first - understand their lives, thinking, culture etc 
      • Focus on one soul first 
      • Close to us
   3. Timetable for evangelism 
      1. Discern his spiritual timetable - is his spirit responsive to god's timetable 
      2. Identify which area you need to tear down 
      3. Rebuild and give them the new thinking and living
      4. Help them to experience the power of HS

The struggles and remorse generated in our lives through following the full gospel is the very evident that we're truly loved by God to respond to His truth. With each struggle comes each genuine submission from seeing the value of following this gospel.
