• God doesn't want us to look at outcomes. But what is the true victory in Christ?
• Victory doesn't stands for good things. But the true victory is change of one's perspective.
• The perspective of the most beloved child of God, having all the covenant and promises.
• Just like when Joseph was still a slave, he is already victorious because God is with him.
• Our greatest blessings are God's never-changing promises.
• Christians are not perfect, we just have the only true and perfect God.
• <Joshua 23> tell us that: (1) History of Israel: God's past grace.(2) Basic principles: Blessings Vs Curses.

1. Principles of blessings and curses.
   1. Winning formula - fear The Lord the God and hold on to His covenant (Believe right -> Do right -> Right outcomes)
      1. There is only one God or King: Jesus Christ (the only salvation)
      2. There is only one eternal kingdom: Be the only purpose in life. If not, your life will never be sufficient, there is always a void and emptiness in your heart.
      3. People (love God, love man): 10 commandments
   2. 5 Solas (only) of a believer 
   1. Sola Scriptura: Only bible (the only truth) -> You will want to ground and equip yourself with what the bible says
   2. Solus Christus: Only Christ -> Claim the power of Christ's blood and name
   3. Sola Fide: Only faith -> God-driven, not human-based
   4. Sola Gratia: Only grace (If you want to continue to enjoy the joy of Christ, you will have the heart to do good works, which is doing what God wants you to do. Not karma) -> God-driven, not human-based
   5. Soli Deo Gloria: All glory to God alone! (Without God, you're nothing) -> God-driven, not human-based
   3. Failures = Disobey to all the 5 solas

Constant Spiritual battle 

1. The evil one - always attacking you (He won't make you fall immediately, but slowly and unconsciously, making your heart grow cold)
2. Sinful nature - always tempting you
3. Worldly culture - always influencing you
4. Influences from humans
   1. Work of devil (Make us ignorant towards which is the true creator. Make us disbelief, having doubt in our leaders or even bible. Make us disobey, stopping you from submitting. Make us pride.) Worst thing is that it is very difficult to identify the devil.

How do we win the battle?

1. Mindset: We are already victorious! From the moment that Christ is nailed on the cross. 
2. Eternal status in Christ is already confirm victorious. However, is the state of us living on earth victorious also? "Die to self, let Christ live" <Galatians 2: 20>
3. Paradox at <Matthew 16: 25> "Let go for Christ and you will get more in Christ."
4. How to die to self?
   1. Tear down your beliefs and install Christ's view (values and perspectives) on daily living
   2. Using the view (God's with me, God loves and can & will use me) to explain everything in your life.
   3. Realign your life for Evangelism.
