• When you see this, you will be drawn to live out the spirit of Christ 

• This will pick yourself up in your failures, you will be driven to move on with new purpose, new strength to move on because of the unmoved covenant 

But is your anchor point relevant? The reason why we always lose the covenant or deem it unimportant is because they couldn't find the connection what God has promised and their daily living. (Disjoint between covenant and how to deal with daily pressure at work etc) 

• A lot of people just don't care, continue to live with the sense of disjoint. 
• But slowly if you continue like this, you will slowly lose the experience of gospel. 

This is what the Lord says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick: “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. The wild animals honor me, the jackals and the owls, because I provide water in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen, the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭16-21‬ NIV)

1. The Lord is doing a new thing 
   • We often miss the new thing, because they dwell on the former things. Thus God said forget the former things (that constraint you)
     • Ancestry, oh I am Christian family, old mindset about denominations, hx of failures! sorrows, disobedience --> may bring you to spiritual complacency or self righteousness 
     • Pray: get rid of all complacency and failure mindset. god is showing you a new thing, new perspective, pray according to the covenant - I chose king David not because he is smart but because he will seek to follow me
   • A way in the desert and streams in the wasteland
     • Desert, wasteland - > hearts and souls of man (dry spirit, numbed heart) [state of our hearts]
     • Hardened heart responding to the word of God (heart of stone turning into heart of flesh) -> could mean born again, new hope to believers again that they find new hope in their trials and afflictions 
   • Wild animals, jackals, owls (Gentiles, unclean) will honor The Lord
     • So turn away and tear down ur judgmental mindset.  you are constraining the work of God 
     • Don't let what you deem un-doable and unlikely to constraint the work of God. Get to know them all over Again.
     • Remove the sense of giving up. God will deliberately put people who may fail you around you, so that you will receive greater grace and annointing 

1. The easily disjoint belief - it's natural, because it comes from your flesh. So you need to deliberately deal with it through prayers, if not, your faith will turn irrelevant 
   • Kingdom of Israel - it's the physical things (it's the sense of superiority), but kingdom of God (love, righteousness, peace) is bringing the godly culture to people, even though lowlier than you
   • O.  Don't just receive edification in meetings, bring these edification home to your fields to your colleagues, then you know it's true edification by the Holy Spirit 
2. How to deal with it? Anchor point 
   1. 1. Brethren living (join together constantly) (see the need to get together )
      2. Earnest reason in gathering 
         • Pray and make connections between covenant and their practical living (a lot of times, we are so absorbed by the problems that we stop thinking from the perspective of unmoved covenant) god is always advancing the gospel through the crisis and daily practical issues, so don't lose the focus 
3. New convictions, breakthroughs 
   • Progressive convictions -> lead you to new encounters, new doors 
4. Total submission (living submission. -> submit as The Lord leads)
   • You have the heart to submit again and again, test the Lord's will and move on again and again

1. Getting the sense of HS guidance (subjective experience)
2. Finding new hope and strength in adversity - go through the difficulty in your life (don't give up because of persistent problems, because Lord is not anyhow in His leading. Some time, you need to pray until the change of hearts, don't give up because of self issues, don't choose the easy way
