Are we feeding our self nature? If all our shepherding doesn't bring us back to Christ, then we are in a self fulfilling prophecy.
See Christ as how he sees the father, yield sovereignty to him as how he yielded to the father.
Does all our shepherding, doing, etc point to Christ?
Do we have more of Christ as a brethren, as a sister, as a child...
Sometimes we go on like Martha, but becoming less edified by Christ, less grace less wisdom of Christ as we continue to “serve” —> not magnifying Christ in it
What will Christ do if he is living today in your place?
Have the Christ become more in you?
Father testified for Jesus through Jesus doing the works of God (obedience to god) --> healing of sick, and repentance of sinners etc...
But why we cannot yield to God? Because we are more concerned about exalting our own knowledge and experiences, that is why we missed all the evidences that the father is testifying for you and to you
Can we recognise what Christ is doing in us and through us everyday?
Are we increasingly yielding to the will of God everyday
Jesus came to bring out the spirit of the law.
“I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish—the very works that I am doing—testify that the Father has sent me. And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent. You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. “I do not accept glory from human beings, but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts. I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God? “But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?” (John 5:36-47 NIV)
You cannot believe anyone's writing when we do not have the soul of the writing - i.e. Christ
Christ demonstrates
- God has spoken and is speaking; God has done and is doing

- He is loving and edifying others through you.. He is doing in your doing:; as you work, don't do it out of routine, do it out of Christ is doing through me, and receive affirmation and praises from Him = being one with God
- Life - see, hear and connect with the unseen God

- The life of yielding sovereignty to Him, of walking the will of god
- The life of joy.
- Eternal life -> eternal condemnation is being alive consciously but having nothing of God eternally.
- You can read the bible but never come to me and have a life with me (connect with me in all that you are doing, not pray now but continuously praying). Do you do all that you are doing with life (as if how Christ would have done it)?
- Learn how to be busy with life?
- Be led by the spirit
- Relationship (life comes from the relationship of father-son)

- This is the assurance that enables you to pick up despite errors and mistakes and guilt
- We should be in awe of this relationship because this is such infinite strength and love
- Do we anchor our every thoughts and actions on this relationship?
- Whatever we do, it must be fueled by your relationship with God
Praises from men
Things that prevent the life and relationship with God from being genuine
- Prevalent inclinations in our heart
- Love of God is not in you (2 kinds of people)
- Who are not born again, sees themselves as holy without relationship with God, priding them with being able to do the laws
- Those who have a conscience before God but their hidden emotions drain them away .. These people are fulfilling obligations but not renewed by his love
- Accusations (comes from you keeping the part of your life to yourself, not yielding to the One above)
- And the devil don't just stay there, he stays, he steals he kills and he destroys the very love of God and r/s with God
3 things to pray in reading the bible
- Meet The person of Jesus in our life -> translate into the living Jesus today.
- We can know about humanity and divinity of Christ and stay amazed. But does it comes in your life, as you have weakness? And you see him sympathising you and intercede for you
- Yearn to see God working in our lives
- The burdens for soul (god's heartbeat is for the lost soul. The evangelical field is the best seminary)
Any doctrine that doesn't stir one to have burden for lost souls, that is a dead doctrine
