“As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.” - Jesus wanted to be low profile, because he didn't want to attract people of wrong faith (in the miracle); he wanted us to be consistent and steady faith, not hinging for miracles but daily communion with God

But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region. While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus. And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.” But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.””

The faithfulness of God has arrived.

Messiah comes -> who is Son of david 

1. God's promise is fulfilling through Jesus 
   • Greater miracle is - Jesus our Savior is here => (whole person) healing, transformation 
2. GOd's kingdom is with us today
   • The saving power of Jesus is here with us today.  --> child of God will be able to see again. (Thus can do right, feel right, and act right)
   • See what?
     • our depravation, our real need -> only then can we humble down (We cannot force ourselves to be humble)
     • Original r/s with God: His glorious image -> then you will not be in self-pity 
     • See God's presence and work not MIA 
     • Hidden work of devil 
     • Diagnose our problems 
3. Are we anxious when we don't see God?
   • The blind men can see God's grace because they are desperate 
   • Blessed anxiety can be helpful at times, when we are far away from God. => better than ignorant or false sense of well-being
     • • God will reopen our eyes, realign spiritual senses, reactivate our trust in Him

1. Do you believe I (not you) am able <v28>
   • Jesus asked to "affirm, and stretch" there faith 
   • How to build faith: (objective truth + subjective experience of r/s with God)
     • Knowledge of God (object of our faith - who are you believing in, and what is He capable of doing; this Jesus is the one who brings us close to God -> relational knowing through Word become flesh, and live out God's likeness; no longer bleak knowledge of God; Jesus comes to overpower Satan - the very thing our willpower cannot do). KNowing this God correctly, gives us strength. He doesn't come to demand/judge, but to redeems us. 
     • Relational knowing of God (who is God to you - this is shown through Christ, Father is revealing His great love for us ) -- > build faith 
     • Experiences which we journey together [this actually help you to verify your r/s with God, and stretch your faith] => hence important to exercise/ live out faith 
     • Faith builds overtime, through multiple encounters. You are currently in God's timetable of building your faith in Him
2. According to your faith let it be done to you v 29

• faith is practical - confirm it! 
• Not the magnitude of your faith, but the faith in the object you're believing in
• Even when we experience failure, faith gives us hope to carry on, do again
