Spiritual Eye And Strength In The Last Days

Topical Messages

"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people." 2 Ti 3:1-5 We are living in the end times where godlessness prevails. In the constantly changing situation in life and the disheartening moments, can you see the Lord who stands by your side and give you strength? Yet Paul had the spiritual eye and strength which all people in this world would yearn to have, because he could always see the God who has always been working faithfully at the background. Restore the spiritual eye and strength through the complete gospel today. The spiritual power of a remnant to stand against the godlessness comes not from his determination but the truth he knows, confirmed and inscribed in his heart.

Now, Choose Life Over Death

Truly, there are two ways put before us when the Gospel is presented to us. There is simply no sitting on the fence. When the Gospel truth comes to us, our heart will virtually choose something, for the better or for worse. Either we yield our sovereignty to God (from the Gospel we have heard), or we continue to hold on to our own sovereignty. Or either we subconsciously yield our will to obey His revealed will or we turn away from it. Even if we remain indifferent, that is already a choice. So the Gospel is of life and death, blessings and curses. So choose life over death each time you hear His life-giving word.
