Woe To The Unrepentant

God will surely give us His mercy, as long as we are willing to repent. However, in man's pride, he disown his source of life. His pride comes from disbelief in God and his trust in himself. 1 Corinthians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭says, "What have you that was not given to you? If then you received it from someone, why do you boast as if you had not received but had gained it by your own efforts?” ‭‭ As we repent and acknowledge God in all that we do, we must realise that humility is not just about not boasting, but also accepting the lot/portion God has given us.

Forgiven To Forgive

In a wounded culture, we inevitably hurt others and got wounded by them. With His unconditional and exceeding grace of forgiveness, God cancels believers’ debts of sin and made us a new creation in Christ. By our old self, we cannot easily forgive others, but by our new self in Christ, we can. God forgives us so that we can forgive others. Only the greatest love of God can pacify our deepest wounds, so that we can even forgive those who sin against us.
