Taken Or Left Behind?

Taken Or Left Behind?

Deacon Hui Zhen - 8 May 2014

Make Every Effort To Enter Through The Narrow Door

A genuine Christian faith is a faith that leads you to think, acting and living out the truth you know. Unless one is born again, it is impossible for her to walk the path of following God. A born again Christian who walks through the narrow door is one who believes in Jesus is the only Way, Truth and the Life and she is absolute in her belief. She is also one who restores the right value of life, knowing that the world is transient and put her heart in pursuing the matters of the kingdom. As the world is always a delusion, to fight the daily spiritual battles she has to restore the right perspective of herself, i.e. identity of Child of God and the Promises of God that follows her come what may. May God tears down the falsehood that lingers in our lives and restore in us us the desire and willingness to live out the truth we know, and lead a life of entering through the narrow door.

Taken Or Left Behind?

God is not far from us such that we cannot find Him. But His presence and work has already come among us. If we were to take Him seriously, we will be able to see and enjoy His Kingdom even today. The Kingdom of God may sound abstract, but it is coming surely and suddenly. Do we go on with life as usual after hearing God’s word or do we align our lifetime goals and labor to God’s truth and purpose? We will know how Judgment Day is like for us when we look at how we are living today. On the day of Christ’s return, will we be taken up in glory or left behind? Christ will come back anytime, so be ready all the time!
