The Surpassing Worth Of Knowing Christ

All English Service

"But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.” Php 3:7-10 While the world is always changing and contrary to the truth, God is still sovereign in all situations, He is unchanging. Look to the complete gospel and it will give you the right spirit - a God-revering spirit. One who knows the surpassing worth of Christ will have practical answers and strength in all every endeavour, for she sees how light and momentary the earthly matters are before the greater blessings from Christ.
