Before you can walk in sync with God, believers ought to see how God is at work first. That comes from the right system of faith that anchors on God's words, having a God-revering and god-seeking heart, praying to affirm ourselves the promise that has always been true, and a character of genuine love. It is only through this unshakeable system of faith can believers hear God, receive His guidance and obey Him step by step to the end in everything they are doing. Great victory in Christian living is not about not sinning or doing great works for the Lord, it is about following Him humbly and carefully, holding His word in the highest esteem and overcome the spirit of disbelief repeatedly.

Often, what makes it tough for us is not so much the actual problems we face, but because we cannot see God in the midst of our problems. Moreover, when we see wrongly – when our eyes are fixed more on other things than God, that is the beginning of our problems. But thank God that though we often cannot see Him, He sees us and comes to look for each of us personally. Because He knows us by name and cares for each of us uniquely, once a person meets God, he will find transcending strength to face various life situations. Blessed is the one who sees the God who sees him today!

Verses to read: <Genesis 16:1-16>

1. The problem of human impatience and schemes.

1) SEEING WRONGLY is the beginning of the mess

2) IMPATIENCE and LACK OF FAITH >>> sowed problem

3) Our faithless devices lead to adverse results too??

2. “The GOD who sees ME”.

1) Unexpected grace.

2) He sees ME personally.

Power in personal attention.
He sees, He hears, He cares, He acts.

3) Find strength after meeting God.

Hagar went back to still be a servant to her harsh mistress.
The promise and nearness of God strengthen us.
After receiving undeserved grace, be humble and not let pride trip us.
Obedience is the best worship of God.

4) God sees us in order to lead us to see Him too.

Hagar said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” <v13>
God also asks us, “Where have you come from, and where are you going?” <v8>
Stop. See God. Get on right direction.
